THE IMPORTANCE OF INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION IN INCLUSIVE LEADERSHIP PROJECTS
The issue of leadership, including, has not been a national issue for a long time, but an international one. Thus, after the 2000s, scientists managed to impose on the international agenda, better than ever, a series of imperatives related to the psychology of leadership in a tolerant and multicultural society.
Despite some political-diplomatic and specialist efforts in the leadership’s area of interest, it is found that some societies are still not well prepared to face crises or tense situations.
That is why the development and promotion of the concept of INCLUSIVE LEADER for young people, in particular, can bring new and ingenious solutions to anticipate risks and prevent social and even organizational crises.
An inclusive leader can better understand multiculturalism and adapt much better to collectives or communities of people from very different backgrounds.
The involvement of civil society in the issue of leadership, including, represents a genuine act of public diplomacy, aimed at increasing the level of information and responsibility of each citizen, to be more careful with other people.
At the first multinational meeting, which took place in Bucharest, between January 12 and 15, 2024, with the exceptional participation of representatives of partner organizations MGOZ (Malta), IVIsrl (Italy), AWA (Maldives) and DSD RO (Romania) were discussed the most important aspects of the implementation of the ILED EMFYL project. A good start is a guarantee of quality and a successful project!
The meetings between the project partners are a good opportunity to present to the audience relevant aspects related to inclusive leadership, on the one hand, and to make a good exchange of practices, in the field of youth and adult education, for the formation of motivations, attitudes, behaviors and European values, on the other hand.
The visit to Romania of the Maltese, Maldivian and Italian experts offered a good opportunity to intensify the dialogue on the issue of inclusive leadership, thus increasing the multiplier effect that the ILED EMFYL project proposed.
Therefore, it can be stated that the international dialogue, even at the level of non-governmental organizations, is essential in promoting the desired inclusive leadership.
