WORKSHOPUL NR. 3
KEEP NATURE CLEAN, KEEP OUR LIVES CLEAN
This activity addressed two issues of major importance for the security of the natural environment – garbage recycling and healthy eating.
Thus, after introducing the Diplomacy, Security and Defense Research Organization (DSD RO) association and the ERASMUS+ project to the new participants at this workshop (A3), the chairman of DSD RO presented the guests of honor and the keynote speakers at this event.
Thus, one by one, Mrs. Silvia PETRE, director of the ROMWASTE Solutions SA and the host of this workshop, welcomed us and told us about the place and role of this company in a responsible society, then, Mrs. dr. Camelia ȘTEFĂNESCU delighted us with her lordship’s recommendations about “Healthy food, in a healthy environment”, and then, Colonel Dr. Adrian ANTIP, from the Ministry of National Defense told us about the concerns of recycling materials in the army. Mr. Marius Marinoff, from the Association for Recycling and Integrated Waste Management (ARMID) presented us the “Zero Waste” concept and talked about the garbage management process in Romania and other countries. The President of DSD RO recommended the workshop participants to use, with confidence, the materials posted on the website www.dsdro.ro , both those of the guests, but also those prepared by the DSD RO Team.
After these presentations, there was a memorable visit to the recycling and waste sorting factory, led by director Corneliu, who explained, in a way that everyone could understand, what the recycling facility does, but also what each person and organization must do, in order to contribute to the security of the natural environment.
Workshop participants developed solid green attitudes, motivations, behaviors and values after this unforgettable experience at ROMWASTE Solutions SA.
Their message, sent to leaders of organizations, colleagues, but also to families and acquaintances, will contribute to the multiplication of the ERASMUS + event within the “Environment Security, Our Future Security” project.
The pictures and materials (in English and Romanian), posted on the website and the Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/asociatiadsdro ), will be accessed by the partners in Italy and by anyone who wants to learn more about this topical topic for the environment and our Planet.
