PRACTICAL-APPLICATIVE ASPECTS OF DIPLOMATIC PSYCHOLOGY

This book sets out, during its six parts, relevant aspects of the use of diplomatic psychology in real life.
Thus, in the first part, entitled “Diplomatic psychology-vector of professional success” are presented relevant applications of this area of ​​general psychology in cultural diplomacy, protocol-diplomatic activity, understanding multiculturalism, strategic geo-political analysis, psycho-social profile of some communities and even peoples etc.

The second part, entitled “Psychology of negotiation” brings to the reader’s attention the most significant elements of diplomatic psychology, which can improve the negotiation process.

           The third part, entitled “Psychological aspects of psychological aggression in the international environment” signals a series of elements less known to the general public, but with a significant impact on the life of every inhabitant of the planet.

The fourth part, called “Psychological aspects of communication in the diplomatic environment” informs the reader about the importance of communication, from the perspective of diplomatic psychology and more.

The fifth part, entitled “The psychological profile of the diplomat” proposes a series of skills absolutely necessary for the successful practice of this occupation – diplomacy.

The last part, “Adapting to the diplomatic environment” is a presentation of the psychological feelings of some diplomats, who consumed energy to adapt to the new environment, but also the lessons learned by them, generously offered to younger generations of diplomats.

The paper is a natural continuation of the book “Diplomatic Psychology”, published in 2012, at the Publishing House of the National Defence University “Carol I” and signed by Dr. Cristian Dobre
